Successes
A Missionary seldom considers his life in terms of
successes or failures. He doesn't ask himself: "how
many hours have I worked this week?" Instead, he looks
at the hungry child in his village and asks: "what can
I do to make sure he has enough to eat?" He sits quietly
with an old woman as she lies dying in a mud hut and
thinks: "Have my words and my prayers been of comfort
to her?" He gently speaks to a young man as he teaches
him to read and write - realizing that this simple task
could change a life forever!
