Introduction

The Rural Livestock Improvement Programme is an initiative to help the African people establish and maintain family farms that would help feed and sustain their community. Its goal is to eradicate poverty and starvation by modernizing and expanding the agricultural production. The program offers a Training Centre, which is used for instructional demonstrations of farming practices, but unfortunately the Centre lacked water tanks that would be essential for some training sessions.
